The race committee is considering starting the race off the pier in front of the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria. The actual start time and course to be used will be announced at the skippers’ meeting. It is expected that the boats will take approximately two hours to complete the race.

About The Event
The start of the race is set for 12:30 pm. This year, the race committee is considering starting the race off the pier in front of the Columbia River Maritime Museum in Astoria, with the course taking the boats out to navigation Buoy 27 near Warrenton, then back to finish near the Maritime Museum. The actual start time and course to be used will be announced at the skippers’ meeting to be held at the AYC clubhouse at 10:30 AM Saturday morning. It is expected that the boats will take approximately two hours to complete the race, depending upon weather conditions. Crews intending to race should review the Notice of Race on the AYC website.
