My dad is a past Vice Commodore.  We were cruisers and sport fisherman mostly and although we kept various sailing yachts at the club I was only involved in the weekly race series as crew in other people’s boats. I was an active member of the pram shed and was always out in a Laser, Laser 2,  Vanguard 420, Thistle or whatever suited the day and frequently went around the marks or manned the committee boat at the Saturday morning kid’s races. In later years we were more involved in sport fishing and actively participated in round ups and hosting the BYC annual tournament.  My dad has long since retired and I left Florida for the west coast.  The many years I was a club member are among the most memorable I have and I would very much like to carry on in that tradition with AYC. She’s going to take a quick check to make sure it’s a current list, then she will pass on to Hal and Liz who will be mailing out ballots to all members to vote for 2019 board members.
