AYC Rallies
Captain, Crew, & Guests Welcome
The Astoria Yacht Club is always looking for ways to enjoy our local waters and share their beauty with family and friends.
In 2025, AYC will host Thursday evening rallies both above and below the Astoria–Megler Bridge, as conditions allow. These casual outings are designed to be easy to fit into summer schedules, with tides selected to provide favorable current conditions on a bi-weekly schedule listed below.
Members are invited to bring their boats and enjoy sailing in company from 1700 to 1900 hours, followed by a gathering at the clubroom for a simple supper of hot soup and fresh bread. Beverages are available for the customary donation, or you’re welcome to bring your own.

Two weekend cruises are also planned this season:

Cathlamet Memorial Day Extravaganza
AYC has been invited to join this long weekend of fun, food, and on-the-water activities. -
Ilwaco Basin Cruise (Post-Labor Day)
We’ll spend the weekend celebrating the close of a great summer of sailing.
We hope to see you on the river!
New Year's Day Sail
A great way to begin the new year, weather permitting.
Participant Responsibility
Participation in all rally and cruise events is entirely at each individual’s own risk. The decision to participate, or to continue participating once an event has begun, rests solely with the participant.
By taking part in these events, participants release the event organizers and officials from any and all liability associated with participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
